FOUR WALLS |
Shackles, cuffs, links, chains
Social drugs numbing brains
Poisoning potential inhibiting change
Four walls closin’ in
Landlords, administration, bosses, wardens
Pigs, prosecuters, masta, foremans
Fake allies actin’ foreign
Four walls closin’ in
Projects, cubicles, classes, cells
Plantation, corporations, organizational hell
Experienced predecessors metaphysically tell
Four walls closin’ in
Taking orders almost always
Straight path faking praise
Hopeful for better days
Four walls closin’ in
Desperate measures taking hold
Bills, debt, dough unfolds
Unload work, servicing hope
Four walls closin’ in
Servin’ dope, servin’ feigns
Servin’ them, servin’ me
Servin’ you, raise zombies
Four walls closin’ in
Phony teachers pushin’ lies
T.V programs that hypnotize
Upholdin’ your psycho. demise
Four walls closin’ in
Orange jumpsuits, cuffed inside
Bareback, chained, whipped outside
Cheap labor to capitalize
Four walls closin’ in
But I came back with my hammer to bust through the slammer
To tear down these walls and search for the answers
To try to defy confinement
To fly to and pry through the tyrants
I try to get by while they firin’
But them four walls, they keep closin’ in
Hope forever kept alive
People, Masses, Wakening, Arise
Pain eventually will subside
from
Four walls closin’ in
